New nursery set to open at Tiptree primary school as demand increases

It comes as more free childcare is being rolled out to working parents!

A new 56-place nursery is set to open at an Essex primary school with a new portacabin planned as part of the proposals. Nursery firm Little Nipperz is planning to open the child care facility at Tiptree Heath County Primary School, Maldon Road, Tiptree, with the plans including a pre-school modular classroom building and associated external works.

If agreed Little Nipperz would be accepting government funding for all age children.

If agreed the new preschool would provide 12 places for children under two-years-old, 20 places for youngsters aged two and three years old and 24 nursery places for children who are aged three and four years old.

  • Proposed but yet to be confirmed

  • Proposed for children aged 3 months – 5 years

  • Proposed 51 weeks of the year

If agreed the nursery will be open from 8am to 6pm every day 51 weeks of the year and it would also create five full time jobs for the area too. Documents included in the plans say there is a need for this kind of child care in the area and demand will also increase due to the changes brought in by the Government regarding parents’ entitlement to free child care.
