Welcome to Little Nipperz

Expert care for your little ones. With 5 settings and decades of experience, we’re here to support your family and nurture your child’s growth.

2007

Little Nipperz was founded, with our first premises being at the Henry Samuel Hall on Steeple Road, Mayland. We quickly outgrew these premises due to high demand in the village.

2010

We moved Little Nipperz Mayland to our new purpose built premises on the grounds of Maylandsea Primary School and continued to expand our offerings to include Breakfast and After School Club.

2017

We expanded our business and opened a new setting in Chelmsford at Maltese Road Primary School which reflected the successful model we established in Mayland.

2023

Continuing our growth, we’re thrilled to introduce our new setting at St. Luke’s Park Primary School in Wickford. This location follows the proven model of our successful settings in Mayland and Chelmsford.

2024

This year we have expanded our offering at Mayland and have opened a purpose built 15 place baby room at our premises in Mayland. This is open from September 2024.

The Autumn we are continuing in our growth journey and are currently working towards opening a day care centre at Tiptree Primary School and a wrap around care provision at Merrylands Primary School in Laindon.

The Managing Directors are Kelly Kaylene (EYTS) & Jessica Whiteley, who between them have over 25 years of childcare experience. Kelly in 2015 achieved her Early year’s teacher status and is currently studying for her doctorate in Early childhood studies. She has a play work level 3 and a high-level safeguarding qualification.

Jessica is qualified….

Little Nipperz has a highly experienced and qualified staff team and all staff have, or are training towards a minimum level 3 qualification.

All number of Little Nipperz of staff have senior responsibilities in different areas such as:

  • Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinators (SENCO)
  • Safeguarding children co-ordinators
  • Health and Safety Officers
  • Equality and Diversity co-ordinators
  • Behaviour Management co-ordinators
  • Early Years Foundation Stage co-ordinators
  • Fire Safety Officers

All staff have regular training through a continual professional development programme ensuring all staff are kept up to date with current legislation and best practise.
